Waist Cinching 101

You Know I'm All About That Waist, 'Bout That Waist, No Trouble..Many are curious and we're here to say, from experience, its working. Our mother waist trained for years! She had that beautiful, hour glass body and she worked hard for it. This diva mother of ours waist trained before having her four children and made sure to get her pre-body back in-between and after having all of us. She never used the densely boned trainers said to move organs but she saw results with these and was a firm believer of the idea of training your waist. Therefore, of course, we became obsessed with curves at an early age. Waist training is more effective for those with less visceral fat than subcutaneous fat. As crazy as it sounds, often times those with a lot of muscle tone may have a harder time compressing down to a smaller waist size. Not saying they are able to do so--but it is often just a longer process. Another great benefit to waist cinching is these trainers help with your posture too! Here are ways to shrink your waistline most effectively, depending on your body shape:

DO:

  • Start out slowly and work your way up. Trust me. You might feel very restricted at first, so wear your waist trainer for a few hours at a time every day
  • Wear your trainer for about 4-6 hours a day for best results
  • Engage in core workouts to strengthen the muscles and encourage more sweat to drop water weight and see more results faster.
  • Eat more nutritious foods and drink plenty of water. If you want a smaller waist sooner, you must treat your body right and the results will come.
  • Listen to your body, if your cincher is starting to hurt, take it off.
  • Do measure your body and wear the correct size, when your trainer no longer fits correctly, reward yourself with the next size down.


DON'T:

  • Purchase a size too small and struggle getting in and out of it in hopes to make it work, you will waste your money and your time.
  • Continue wearing your trainer if you are having shortness of breath or feel pinching. This is usually due to wearing the wrong size.

  2. DURING THE DAY- Wear this underneath your clothes to school, work, or just running errands. The more you wear it, the more beneficial it will be to you. It will keep you looking lean and correct your posture.
  3. TO BED- Many are not fond of wearing this out, fearing people will notice, although, it wont be noticeable. Get an easy 6+ (or however long you sleep) hours in your trainer to help you get maximum time in it. It may feel uncomfortable to some who toss and turn while they sleep, but many wont even feel it once you are in a deep sleep.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR CINCHER
DO NOT MACHINE WASH! all you need to do to keep yours clean and fresh is to wash by hand and let it air dry. 


HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

  • Please measure yourself correctly to ensure the trainer fits correctly. We prefer to measure at the waist line. If you are in between two numbers, it is best to choose the smaller number.
